How do you prevent invalid leads from entering your Forminator Form?
One of the most common problems marketers face these days is the number of invalid leads and email addresses submitted on the lead generation/signup forms.
This eventually leaves them with a pile of bad leads that should not be worked with, and attempting to do so can have a negative impact on both your campaigns and your business in the long run.
So, today we will have a look at what problems such invalid submissions can cause and how you can avoid getting into such a situation.
Consequences of invalid/bad email addresses at the point of data capture
For different people, the term "bad lead" can have a variety of meanings. For instance, when a genuine lead accidentally submits incorrect data on your submission form, or when bots and fraudsters attempt to enter your system.
Here are some additional problems with bad leads:
Shoots up advertising budget: It even raises your cost-per-customer while increasing your total leads.
Financial loss: When bad leads are generated due to fraudulent activity, the situation worsens. Before you realize your contact database is full of fake leads, a reasonably skilled fraudster can steal hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars from you.
Lost resources & opportunities: When your database is clogged with bad leads, your sales team risks wasting time on bad leads rather than reaching out to good ones, preventing you from achieving the rapid response time required to capture the interest of genuine leads.
Incorrect metrics: Data is critical for optimizing marketing efforts. If the data on which you rely is flawed, it can skew your metrics and lead you to believe that an ad campaign is performing well when it actually isn't.
All of these consequences are easily avoidable with one simple solution!
